Always wanted to have some detail pics from a TT engine since I don't have a engine sitting in my garage to pin point each hose, solenoids and other shit. Couldn't stop myself to share the pics from a seller who is selling 94 low km stock TT engine. Pics will help noobs like me to find out where is the EGR, boost solenoids, stock turbo setup etc without asking too many qusetions:)

    BIG thanks.

Although the engine pics in the Tech section photo database are good enough for most cases, the extra details in the pics you
posted are very useful for special cases.
Such as when you've paid someone else to dismantle your engine then you have to put it back together yourself.
( But who'd be stoopid enough to let that happen ? )

It's up to the moderators to decide whether to add any of these pics to the database but I say yes.

    Thank you from Mick.

    Doesn't matter.

I'm not convinced that steam cleaning is the sole reason for the cleanliness of this engine, but that's beside the point.

I just appreciate having some more reference pics of a complete stock engine that's not coated in crap.

Yep, good pics for reference purposes but just remember, steam cleaning is bad for electronics and their connectors, mkay?

Thanks. Biggest benefit is when I will start unbolting few things from engine before taking the engine out. just to make sure unbolting right bolt under engine mount.:D and if someone is selling you 95 + engine you know where to check. btw wiring harness is different for 95+ engine.

You sure thats a '94 ... As far as I am aware the '94's had the series 2 PTU's and the newer style electrical plugs, This one has a series 1 PTU and the electrical plugs I can see are the old style.

    LOL

I also added your forum name to the bottom of the PDF, so you are immortalised for your contribution.

I just realised there's some paint missing from the balance pipe. Bloody disgraceful LOL :D:D:D

up to 10/94 is series 1 engine
    10/94 + is series 2 engine

so am guessing that a late 94 has series 2 ptu and electrical plugs
