Pics here... Good luck mate... Firstly... your add presentation sux! Start by putting a "$" in front of the 5000 in your title. I thought you put a 5L v8 in it when i saw the "5000" wishful thinking. Give more details on the gearbox problem.. if its shift bushes.. its an easy fix for you or the new owner. All in all it looks good for the money. Best of luck!
those aren't stock tips at least, on the exhaust. Wheels aren't stock. Front bar is from a TT, nose panel is either Stillen or rip off Stillen, and i'm not sure what that weird little box is on top of the rear window. It is a cheap price though so good luck
yes it looks like a nice car, but i'm interested in the crank shaft leak and the rest of the engine/gearbox problems. a leaking crankshaft isnt an easy fix yeah?
lol Quote of the year. Seal, presumably, would be rear main or front seal on the crankshaft, not the crankshaft itself
nice car man pretty cheap to. ur intrested in every car, get some money ready to pay, so wen u see one u like u can just buy it instead of sayying im intrested. lawl.
actually mate i never said i was interested in this car, not looking at buying a car with mechanical problems. just interested in what the owner meant by crank shaft leak as my understanding was it would be a big job to repair. prob helps to keep your opinion to yourself ey...
haha yeah my presentation did suck sorry guys i was at uni running late for a lecture and using internet explorer so i couldnt link the photos cause i dont know how hahahah .... yeah a crankshaft is an ANNOYING job to repair i had it quoted by my local mechanic at 1000 with the new timing belt just incase but yeah most of that is labour tips are cheapo bolt ons from the OEM exhaust wheels are clearly not stock and neither is the body work and the weird little box is a brake light... no idea why another was needed edit: also theres a shortshift yeah i might be keeping the car and just doing an engine changeover to another NA since it will work out cheaper than all the labour on the seals and just part out my old engine ? any suggestions to my plan?
It'd cost more than $1k to fix the leak, the 100K kit is $800ish from Caz + 6-8hours labour. Changing engine WILL NOT be cheaper. I'm a bit tempted actually. Where abouts in Brissy are you? When could I come have a look?
Don't you have enough zeds? I keep seeing comments on your facebook about you needing to finish it/them! -Kirill
