i'm not trying to 'rubbish' anyone. i'm just wondering if he's actually installed all these things. if someone's offering opinions based on what they simply sell, as opposed to what they actually have experience with personally, then i'd question the opinions presented. that's hardly 'rubbishing' anyone.

it was common knowledge for a long, long time that he operated out of his home, plain and simple. i see he finally has some retail sales space. i've had plenty of good dealings with coz in the past as well (aside from the fuel rail fiasco, which i was not a victim of luckily), so i'm not trying to cut him up. just wanna know what all this 'expert advice' is based on.

tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

Furthermore, stated further up by Rollin

Bearing that info in mind, Here is someone who has subjectively tested radiators and it clearly shows, on balance, that the "cheap Chinese rubbish" actually represents spectacular value for money then doesnt it!

Id rather have "cheap Chinese rubbish, with more cores, more metal mass and metal end tanks than a stock ally/plastic thing anytime.

Lastly, just because the item is a "Made in Japan" item, are you positive that the core was actually MADE in Japan??
Or, was it just contracted out to some Asian company and a Japanese nametag attached??
Dont go blowing too much sunshine up the Japanese manufacturing arsehole. They are not beyond saving big money by exploiting developing nations and their plentiful and cheap workforce same as anybody else and just repackaging (badge engineering) parts. Especially for such inconsequential items as fabricated aluminium parts where you can go close to training a monkey to hold a TIG torch and feed in some wire.

I have a very fancy water to air intercooler setup which is (supposedly) US made and hopefully should be well made.

    Or is it US made??

Well, the entire kit is actually made in India. The quality of the fabrication and the end finish is flawless! The cooler woks spectacularly well!
Can i tell the difference between a US, a Japanese, a PWR or an Indian made cooler core and radiator.............? I dont think so.

Opinions on these products ranging from Ebay cheapos to a hand made custom PWR one-off specials are nothing but mere speculation and functionally useless when deciding one name brand over another generic.

Subjective testing as done by Mungyz is the only info id bother dignifying!
The only question here is consistency, in the long term, in the raw materials used to contruct each item.
    That remains to be seen

    +1

The stock rad is more than adequate for 99% of people, there are lots of guys making huge power with the stock radiator. It's very underrated WHEN in good working order and not blocked to shit...
