Can anyone let me know who would be the best mechanic in Tassie for my Z.Have blown a head gasket or warped a head and will do 100k service at same time.
either way . your heads may be FUBAR.. if there warped. time 2 take you engine 2 a machine shop 2 check

I wouldn't be going in there telling them what you "think" is wrong. Tell them the basic symptoms and let them diagnose it themselves. You - "zomg my car is so super broken mang, it has a warped head and it's blowing smoke and it's making clunking sounds so I think it's going to be really, really bad" Mechanic - "cha ching"
Id find a seperate auto-electrician to do that, not all mechanics are all that good at wiring stuff clean and tidy. This is just a generalisation of course, ask that shop suggested above to see if they're comfortable doing it. Big dollars in that job too.
