WA techday/bbq 15th Aug (week before cruise)

As is becoming tradition, im gonna get another techday going on the 15th August (1 week prior to the cruise) so everyone who has things they want fixed/thrown on before the big event can get it done.

Ill be throwing on a BBQ and some drinks... feel free to bring more....
And after the successfull night down at andy's place last tech day, those who want to crash at my place for the night are more than welcome...
Yes Adam, there will be shots....
Yes, a video camera will be on hand incase simmo decides to dance again...
And yes, there will be midori for the girls again... oh and Ross....

Camber arms (After seeing Andy fitting them) Should be able to help with them too providing the right tools are at hand... AIV delete (I know this one is easy, just adding it to my resume )... Might grab some radiator hoses and fit them too while i'm at it... Hicas lock bar fitting too! Yay! Nylon window slider thing... (Gonna need some help with this one i think) Anyways defo be there...

DOES ANYONE HAVE A S2 PTU IN THEIR CAR?? might want to do a swap test on mine on the day if its not running by then....
least then i can confirm it works....

 

I am away for work that week (the reason I can make the cruise the following week :zlove: ).

I have one that mostly works, plus a borrowed one in the car (it's Jamie's).

You can use my deadish one for testing. Well, so far I think it's deadish. I'll bring it.

By deadish, I mean that the car plays up every so often with the same symptoms as yours, but then comes good after a few minutes.

I have another on the way from the states.

 

more so i want to test teh one i have, to see if it even works... throw it in a car thats wired for a S2, and if it dont start then i found my problem...

 

I have S2 in my car. You can swap that if needed.
Aidan, I know you wiill be ready and organised. But do you have a car battery charger in your place? We were having issues last time to charge the battery. Make sure you have battery with full charge.

 

nah dont have a charger but got 2 other cars to jump from, or swap batteries out of... had the shitbox hooked up to the zed the other day to charge it up a little as i have actually pulled my finger out and started trying to get her finished (as much as is possible in the bucket state she is in) Should have the front end back on her by tech day....
