i doubt too many people bother using a torque wrench on wheel nuts.

i do it through feel, if you're doing it gradually with either a breaker bar or wheel brace just tighten until it resists naturally and you find to do more turns you need need 2-3x as much force as before.

don't do what some people do and put their body weight on it until it stops turning. seen it done... completely unecessary.

I use a torque wrench if I'm leaving them for a while, otherwise same as Mike, just do it up ti'll it feels 'right'. As long as they are firm and approx all the same they are fine.

What? I can't believe I am hearing this from you guys...

Torquing Lug Nuts is a MUST in my book. As is torquing just about every other bolt on the Z32.

I ALWAYS torque Lug Nuts no matter what. Unless I am on the side of the road changing a flat tire.

I torque mine to 90~ lb/ft of torque. ALWAYS!!! No car leaves my shop without the Lug Nuts torqued. Even if I have not removed the wheels...They get torqued.

i'm pretty sure none of the wheel braces that come in new cars, or are sold in shops have torque adjustments on them, and i'm pretty sure torque wrenches are well over $200 at my old work, i'm also pretty sure that everyone learns how to change a tyre.. so i'm once again pretty sure you're an idiot if you buy a torque wrench for changing wheels! ROFL

Im pretty sure its better to be cautious than be the idiot who doesn't tighten up to spec and lets this happen

I do believe there's a bit of fencing wire bracing my lower radiator hose to the radiator....let me check.
