Quarter panels

    Does anyone in Australia sell replacment quarter panels for our zed's have a friend looking for a drivers side 2+2 .......Thanks

    Plenty of 2+2's getting parted. You could get one cut off a car. Talk to Hyper101 he has a 2+2 going to scrap soon. You may convince him to cut the rear quarter off for you.

    I got one brand new from nissan (through TTZ), cost me around $850 but the price may have gone up now. It took about 4 weeks to get here from Japan.

    Make sure you get separate quotes from the panel beater for fitting a new panel and fitting a panel off a wreck. There's a fair bit of labour in removing the old one intact, drilling out spot welds and then separating the quarter panel from the rest of the body without damaging the edges of the panel. I bought a new one because I figured it would require much less prep work from the panel beater before fitting/painting.
