had a suprise phone call on sunday morning from my local nissan dealership.

a few months ago i registered my interest in the new 370Z, not that i am in a position to buy one any time soon... i just want to have a good look at it! :D

so he called me to let me know they had a suprise delivery of a gun metal 370z and it was in the showroom ready for me to have a look.

only got 2-3 pics but the new zed is incredible, the interior is perfect, all driver based and everything feels exactly how it should in a sports car.

alcantara interior, paddle shift, dash mounted gauges, in car GPS, 3.7litre N/A V6 and a 7 speed gearbox in the auto... it was an awesome car... made my zed feel very inadequate lol

the seats are both leather and alcantara and very comfortable, they wrap around your body like a racing seat but have the comfort and luxury feel of leather/alcantara.

one thing i notice with the 350 and the 370 is how much they resemble a z32, when you sit in it you get a very comfortable, familiar feeling.... i like it :zlove:

in person the rear of the new zed looks awesome... Needs more low!

alcantara/leather interior has WIN all over it!

got to love 7spd paddle shift... i love a good zed!

IMHO the 370z is better value then the GTR35, its half the price, built by machines, not by hand and dosnt have the little hickups all the new gtr owners are complaining about.
also, it has a normal gearbox/clutch setup and none of the fancy "launch" control stuff that usually ****s up and costs you nearly 1/3 of the price of the car...
plus it looks better, nissan has taken a good step and gone back to the 240z style and have definatly done something right with this car... i was happy to just sit in it!

now to sweet talk the salesman and organise a test drive in a manual:biggrin:

Nice, I went to have a look on monday but nissan were closed and they must have been locked up inside...

    I still wouldn't mind an R35 to go with my 370. ;)

Ah you got jipped, the one I saw in newcastle was unregistered and inside but the sales guy still let me start it. So cool having a start button and not having to stick the key into anything. The only thing I dont like is the GPS taking pride of place in the centre of the dash, GPS maps are hopeless outside of capital cities so would be of little use to me. Now if they put in the instrumentation/telemetry on the screen like in the new gtr that would be cool:cool2:

Got a letter today asking if I wanted to test drive one :) when I filled out the application under the section of what other cars I'm interested in I put down an Aston Martin Db9 :p so they're really hounding me to come see the 370z, they think I'm rich.

yeah estimates were about $65k pre release so good to see it didn't climb too much.

lol, local dealer quoted me $85k about 3 months ago. he was still trying to flog used 350's at $45k+ though hehe.
