I Have here for sale a freshly built 4speed auto trans for a vg30dett that has not been used since since it was pulled out at 35,805km on its original clock. This is a rare transmission that came from a imported vg30dett from japan. i have just recently taken off the quarantine stickers from the trans. i have the box loom that will come with it also.

The transmission has only done 35,805km same as engine, It is in near new condition.

the price im looking for is $160 but make me an offer and we mite be able to sort something out.

    Transmisson is in AYR, Queensland

if interested reply to 0414085756 or x1maple@hotmail.com

i can also be contacted by quick reply

I smell something a little fishy here. I'd sure as hell take it for $160 in any condition if it is the same tranny I had. I'm not convinced that Jap TT autos really are rare. Also, why has a near 36k old box been rebuilt? Was it thrashed or fried inside out? Can you also verify the km's with the tranny?

hi dude i cannot verify it, but i have a vg30det with 4speed auto that came from japan and i am only selling the transmission now as i own a manual its just sitting in a garage doing nothing i have no use of at all, i am looking for 200 i should have put up there but other people are giving me offers for it so ill see if i can get 200 if i can im glad to let it go. i only need money for bills and the tranny is something spare i have so i thought id sell it. im trying to gather parts to get my vg30det going its a twin cam vg30 with only one ceramic turbo which goes harder than the tt. i think the box may be heavy duty one im not to sure, i may be able to find out

Ok so it's out of a Z31 now and $40 more? Riiiiiiiiiiiight. So what's the story on the "freshly built" part of it and do you have receipts for the build? What do you mean by heavy duty? It's not a clutch.

I had found out recently it came out of a z32, the z31 never had the motor in their only conversions like the tt conversion people have said on the forums that its a z32 tt tranny

i know its not a auction, and that was a mistake by rebuilt i meant fresh from start, it has not been used it had, over in japan cars are only allowed a 50,00km limit because of japans epa laws so that is why u would see so many cars from japan because they have to get rid of them. im sorry i had made a mistake. the engine that i had the trans connected to is in real good condition and looks clean internally, so id say it hasnt been used much

i only have use for engine and want to get rid of it & because its just a waste of space

so it has been used or it hasn't?? It is rebuilt or it ISN'T? Very very very different terms my friend. I wasn't aware of this 50,000km limit in Japan, what's with that???

it has been used but up to the km limit i said or around there, it has been rebuilt but hasnt been used alot either to my knowledge, thats what the importer said about the pollution laws in japan because of the pollution rate is high over there

i think he's yanking your chain. The clock gets wound back on imports, an easy way to rip off the buyer.
So why would it have been rebuilt at such a tiny amount of kms? You cannot seriously say that a gearbox would need a rebuild if those kms were genuine? Not having a go mate but i think you need to look at this logically.

Ok, I'd say go to a tranny specialist and get it checked out and if its good, put a grand on the price tag instead or sell it as is for $160, pay your bills and let the buyer decide what to do with it. Up to buddy.
I know you can fetch a lot more for a good transmission, ;) That's why I asked so many questions.
