QLD LATE NEW YEAR SALE - ENGINE AND OTHER PARTS

Have just dismantled 1992 TT (manual) engine and am parting it out, and also selling some other accumulated bits. I live in Red Hill, Brisbane.

1992 TT Engine Block ? with pistons, con-rods, crankshaft, etc still fitted. $160 ono
This engine was running fine for 1000 k after full head reconditioning and 100000 k service, and developed a ?tic, tic? noise when idling, which largely disappeared as the revs increased. The original head reconditioner investigated and after some disassembly found a spun con-rod bearing on no 6 cylinder. The owner sold his Z as is where is, and I got the engine. The photos show it as it was before I disassembled it. This item for sale is as described above with the crank pulley, but could include the oil pump, flywheel, clutch and sump, if other wise negotiated. I also have many other engine parts I will be selling, some of which I don?t yet recognise.










Nose Panel $35 ? just the fibreglass panel without seals, the adhesive (from badge) in photo has been removed.



Targa top $100 ? passengers? side, black







Front blinkers $50 ? can be ?cleared? easily




Standard Airbox $40 ? with filters






Sports Steering Wheel $25 ono ? unused, fits 300ZX boss







Standard Coil Packs $150 the lot of 6 ? were working fine at the time they were removed from the engine (will separate, reluctantly for $30 each)

I think so, but how would I positively identify it?

 

At the moment the flywheel, including the ring gear, is for sale ($50). It is from a TT and I can't advise on whether it is the same as the NA, but I can't see any reason why it would be different.

 

Yeah, I have, ('92 TT manual). Tinkering with the idea of fitting them to my Auto ZED during 100,000 km service but have not received definitive answer to previous questions about effects of having manual cams on auto engine. Could possibly be talked into parting with them!!!!

 

I wouldnt know I wanted to by mikes heads but then he decided to keep them

So I was looking to see if you heads were machined or had cams ect
So all I would have to do is just get them refaced.

In Brisbane - have lower plenum for sale $60. Am going to have upper plenum and throttle bodies chromed for my own car in next month, then will have for sale.

As described in the original thread, I can only relate the history of these parts as I know them and cannot give and guarantees with them.
