Just got my first zed last thursday and after reading the buying a zed part in tech, Im a bit worried. The headlights are pushed in a bit below where they should be, and the front guards are about 2-3 mm out of alignment with the doors. Also, its had a front bar installed and painted recently, as well as a fmic and a new radiator. It all just seems a bit suss, or am I just overreacting Because I want a 1991 model car to be perfect? Id post, pics, but Im not sure how. Also, I bought it off a member of this site (Zansta) and it was advertised on here, so if someone knows him could you let me know wether he's trustworthy or not. well the change of the front bar is common with a FMIC install as the new front bar would allow more airflow as apposed to the 91 stock front which is designed for SMIC's. Change in radiator can be a result of changing it while putting the FMIC on, as zeds hav a tendency to over-heat I can understand your suspisions but you could be over-reacting. It would be exceptional for a 18 year old car not to have had some sort of contact front and rear. Take it to a panel beater and he can tell you how severe. Could be only minor to the whole front end being rebuilt.

the 2-3mm gap is normal... how else is the door ment to open and close? if it was EXACTLY flush then the door would clip the gaurd and push the thing out... To be honest im not very impressed by this at all
Intercooler was done because of the intake temps to the turbos would be horrendus in summer and the little sidemounts wouldnt do the job properly, i still have them in PERFECT condition for proof... The radiator was replaced when when fractured... ADAMZX helped me out with getting some replacement stuff at the time...
Most people fit new radiators and FMIC's, and fibreglass front bars never really fit 100% Show us a piccy of the headlights, that could just be the front bar alignment. The front guards can get bent a bit if the car has been jacked up in the wrong spot.
Sorry front bar was never smashed, it feel off during driving. luckily enough it only hung down and didn't rip threw the undercarriage. When i fitted the new bar imade it 10,000x stronger then any panel beater could... the bar is held on by about 10 points to the chassis
