Okay, i am currently installing a HDI missile switch boost controller. now i ran all the air lines and set it all up and it work fine. now the problem is that the missile switch get its power from the ciggy lighter. and i thought i should just cut the wires and hard wire it into the clock wire. and did this and that is were the problem started. after i has connected all the wires and spliced it into the wire harness, it would not work. i tried switching the plugs around, but that didn't do any good. and unhooked the power and earth and that didn't work. i switched or changed every wire that i play with and nothing work. it was all going before i cut the power and earth wires and hard wired them in.

also it does have power going to the switch, but not to the solenoid

    so anyone got any suggestions.

    cheers bonezx

you might have blown a fuse?

try finding another power source, then disconnect the battery, wire it up temporarily for testing, reconnect the battery and try again.

    fixed

one problem. got it all working and everything was sweet. but then after i put the dash all pack together, it doesn't work again. i have it wired into the clock and now both the clock and the boost controller don't work. its not the power. they have power and earth getting to them. no fuses are blown.
