The reason I'm selling is that I now need a more practical car for work and cannot afford to have 2 cars. Imported and complied in 2005 under 15 year rule - Ex Japan 3" custom exhaust Nismo 18" White Wheels Apexi Pod Filter - from Caz Aftermarket suspension Short Shift kit installed 98 fuel + synthetic oils used since my ownership Aus Spec Imobiliser + Alarm on doors + boot A/C fully serviced, replaced sensors and re-gased in 2005 New Clutch in 2005 100,000km service done in Japan in 2005 New Alternator 2008 Re-conditioned power steering pump 2008 Iridium Spark Plugs 2007 Oil changed at 5000km intervals - Mobil 1 Synthetic New top Radiator 2008 New Rear Wheel bearings 2005 Adjustable Rear Camber Arms 2007 Bendix Brake Pads Slotted front rotors Pioneer CD/MP3 Player + Pioneer 220W 6' + Split Speakers New gear shift knob Clear indicators included - not installed Spoiler included if wanted New gear shifter Targa covers Roller blind cover in boot Points to take note of: Paint work needs attention, some panels faded, Removed spoiler left some scuff marks on the boot ABS needs new wheel sensor - Have taken fuse out brakes fine just no ABS Rear seatbelt covers missing for the clips (due to my sub sitting on them) Front drivers seatbelt gets jammed and you have to wiggle to get loose - Needs re-adjustment Front tyres just legal Oil Pressure sensor not working (common fault) - replacement included, not installed Fuel release plays up sometimes, but boot release is fine - I installed new fuel release mech and looks to have come loose Remote Central locking not working anymore - need to use key to unlock doors possibly a relay. Remote works fine with alarm/immobilizer. Small rip on drivers seat in usual place. I don't have the spare time or money to get the few above things fixed for a roadworthy so I am selling her unregistered. The seatbelts were replaced in compliance so should be easy to fix. It is currently registered and I am happy to take you for a test drive but the plates and rego will be removed upon sale. is that all thats wrong with it? hmm if i was to pay for the rego, is it still registered. as i am prepaired to fly to wa and get a car and drive it back to brisbane lol
Hi, Yes I have been honest and told of all its problems. I have already purchased another vehicle hence the price. Unfortunately as I stated the car will be sold unregistered. dammit, what a mint buy. i'm annoyed i missed out, woulda been a perfect project. even with all those 'tiny' faults $5800 was way too cheap. btw it had nismo LMGT3s, in 18s people usually ask for up to $2k for them.
Yeah when i first got the rims they had come off an R34 gtr i then had them on my stagea and then on the 300. A Japanese guy told me they cost up to 8K new. I look forward to purchasing another 300ZX when I can afford a "weekend" car . Thanks to all of the support provided by this forum as well!! You guys are all gentlemen
