are the front pipes on a two seater and a 4 seater the same length?

    Egg ....

    Yes

    Pretty sure they are.
Tune Agent dumps and test pipes were for 2+2 and 2 seater.

I have the n*power copys of the tuneagent dumps and front pipes on my 2 seater.
The front pipes had to have about a foot cut off for them to join the cats in their stock location.
So I'm guessing the 2+2 has longer ones

    Yes you are .
But you can put 2 and 2 together , can you not ?
If those tuneagent style front/test pipes fit straight up to stock position on a 2+2 and not on a 2 seater , then obviously they are different lengths on stock also

Why do you want to know anyway ?
Might be helpful to tell us

They've cut out a foot because that's how much length the cats would take up after refitting. The test pipes, assuming they're the same as mine with my N Powers, they run the exact same length to the cat back. It's just a stock replacement upgrade (as long as you have both the dumps and test pipes) without the cats which you need to get fitted.

The only difference in the entire exhaust system is from the flanges at the diff back. Guessing around a 6" shorter in the bends of the piping from the flanges to the mufflers, thats it. Think of a 2 seater as a 2+2 after being rear ended. :p
Front half is the same but back half is shorter.

Ah I see , so the n*power test/front pipes are made to bolt onto the rear half of the exhaust thus bypassing the cats on the 2+2 . Meaning on a 2+2 they have to cut the test pipes to weld on the cats also ?

So what I said here is wrong & the only difference is from the cat back between 2+2 & 2 seater.
    Cheers

Not from the cat back, from the flanges at the diff.

The exhaust is made up of 4 sections each.

Dumps, test pipes, X pipe and mufflers.

From the back of the X pipe to the mufflers is what's different. ;)

Ah righto . My original exhaust had been hacked up and different things done to it I assumed it was just stock front pipes to cats then bolted from cat back to mufflers ... like my original one was .
Anyways matty-Z has his answer now . Front is same on both :p:eek:
