Hey all. Looking at doing a group buy on the EFI Harness for the zed. As you all know, over time the plastic clips break and fall off and cause all kinds of dramas. I have contacted COZ and they can do RHD ones and will discount and will also save on freight considerably. as far as I can work out the starting price in AUD is around the $540 each delivered mark but lets put some names on the board and see what we can negotiate. Everyone needs one of these really and from what I hear they wont continue to be made so whats availiable is it. So what Ill need is a name and year of car, Manuel or auto, TT or N/A as below 1. are you 100% sure dude. ive asked him a few times for RHD jap spec nissan parts and hes always said he can only get the US stuff..
you z1 and coz lol,i get rhd stuff from coz ,there is rhd zeds in the U.S and Canada Although this add seems very vague as Zeb says they will be made up and also says when current stocks have gone,there will be no more ?????
sorry to sound vague, Im not the best at typing what im actually trying to say. Coz can get RHD Harness (takes 2 - 3 weeks) freight is the main saving with an added discount from COZ if we get enough No one is making anything up, that was part of the mistyping What I meant was that I heard that Nissan was not making harnesses any more so I presumed that means that when they are gone, if you still need a new one, you would have to make it up yourself. I could be wrong of course, just heard it somewhere is all. Not even sure where I heard it in fact so I guess the vague call is on the money. either way, this is a pretty good price delivered. chz
Nissan wouldn't make the harnesses; they would commission them from a supplier like Yazaki, or another harness maker. If Nissan received sufficient demand in the future they would almost (I can't guarantee their decision!) certainly get them made, but the process could take considerably longer. This is the process that happened last year with 2000 spec tails - no-one could get any, then they were all over the place. In this case Nissan parts division would have placed an order with a company called Koito, have a close look at the markings on the lights. My harness is only 4 years old .

this is not a bad idea .. that's not a bad price ,, i would be in , but im going to make my own harness,, and change some things around ,, well good luck with the G/B
