Came across THIS today - local company and have not visited to enquire as yet, but may do so, depending on feedback. Possibly an expensive conversion for a Zed. I wonder if anyone has the technical knowledge to advise on merits of the system? CBZX?
So many of these concepts turn out to be snake oil. This one, I don't know. At first glance I am tempted to think that by using 'hydrogen' they are hoping to cash in on the new tech hydrogen fuel cells that we will see in the future. It's not that long since another "fantastic" petrol saving "invention" went bust after sucking in many investors and losing their money. Think they were Qld based as well, but can't remember their name. However that said, the idea of updating PIGS to HOGS certainly has merit ... where PIGS = Petrol Inefficient Guzzling Systems .
Haha The workshop is pretty well known but the technology is new. Chris, CBZX, has been tinkering with something similar. I'll check them out soon.
Mythbusters tested similar concept and other snake oils. Amount of hydrogen generated was minute and made no difference to fuel consumption if I remember correctly. They may not have made any fine tuning to the engine though.
The Zed has too many variables to check gains. An older motor may give more accurate results.. Browns gas is a known fuel and it will run a motor by its self fact. The cell gives greater output when voltage to it is pulsed ,as per pulse type battery chargers,electrolite types also can increase output. Worth watching its results on testing.

Fordmods has a 22 page thread devoted to HHO. They've got gains out of their cars, but can't generate enough to actually run the engine on straight hydrogen, they've used it with petrol and gas and got some real world fuel gains.
