    Hi guys,

Last time I drove the Z I noticed a weird noise as I was parking it at home. With the car in neutral when I gently rev the engine from idle there is a very distinct watery 'shlooshing' sound. It's quite loud from in the car but I couldn't hear it standing over the engine with the bonnet open. It's not heater core (as there's no leakage anywhere) and after a quick search in the tech section I think it's probably the AIV's. Just wanted to get some expert confirmation?

On another note I have a new ticking noise which I'm 99% sure is lifters; I checked the oil and it's at the low end of the dipstick gauge, should a top up cure this? (obviously I'm going to top it up anyway...)

    Thanks in advance guys!!

yeah its aivs,,if you remove them, dont tape up the ends of the pipe with pvc tape like the previous owners of my new zed did rofl, make sure you either weld it up,or connect a hose with a bolt in it and hose clamp it

Haha I'll try and avoid the tape. I'll get in there and at least drain them as per tech article, and if I end up removing them I'll be sure to seal everything up properly!

    Thanks for the advice.
