Okay for my "Special Edition" "Spec 8" Zed I am looking for a side design "similar" to the "25th Anniversary" Zed logo see images below.





Details of the competition. . .
Cash price of $200 to the winner (PROVIDED a winning design is selected, i.e. if it appears on the side of the car then you are the winner and everyone will know you are the winner so I better pay up).

Background information. . .
my VH45 4.5 liter V8 powered 300zx Z32 (Charcoal in colour) is getting a complete makeover (partly thanks to the idiot that hit her up the butt). The car is getting a complete Stillen 25th Anniversary body kit i.e. rear wing, side skirts, nose panel, (and 2000 front bar, and Karami UAS rear bar). The car will currently has no badging... the rear 3rd brake light will have the JDM 350Z "Fairlady Z" badge.

I am looking for an "OEM" appearance i.e. something that Nissan would have approved.

I am not interested in opinions about the level of badging, and ricer comments.

This is meant as a serious competition for the AUS300ZX community and not opinions.

On the car there will be the following badging:

- a 3rd brake light panel badge of "Fairlady Z" (from the 350Z) on the passenger side.
- there is no badge of the drivers side of the 3rd brake light panel . . . possibly have a 450, 4.5 or cut-down version of the winning side badge.

- on the nose panel either a rectangle "Almighty" badge , or a 350Z circular badge (with carbon fiber insert).

- on the b-pillars camouflaged embossed circular Z badges.

The Spec-8 badge on the side is no more.
The circular Z badge on the grill "mouth" is no more.

Hence there is no more badging than on an OEM zed appearance.

 

Isn't it technically a twin cam (2 camshafts per bank) or am I opening pandoras' box ??

Its a 450 zed. Just get 450 zed badges made. That'll F#%k em.

Opening up the competition more with new breakdowns,
so that others can contribute design concepts (drawing, cut-pastes) and receive part of the price, then potentially a graphics person could complete the best design ...

READ ME: Breakdown of the price pool

Given that not everyone is a graphics-artist, but there are a few who have some great ideas but their resultant artwork is not of the quality that could realistically go on the side of my car. . . I have decided to open up the $250 Total Price pool so that different people could take away sections of the price. Hence I have broken the competition down into the following sections inclusive for the side emblem and engine emblem and optional 3rd brake light panel emblem:

1. Concept design . . . $ 25 - $ 50
   . . .This could be; a cut-&-paste of images to make up the final concept design or a scan of a paper drawn design.
   
2. Graphics artists . . . $ 50 - $ 100
   . . .This is a digital image of the artwork; of a quality good enough to be high-resolution wallpaper on a computer.
   
3. Final artwork . . . $ 50 - $ 100
   . . .This is the final artwork that would be given to the decal maker, so if there are transparent sections for the side logo the better.

Some people have already sent me some ?designs? but they themselves would have to know that these could not realistically claim the majority of the price; but definitely capable of the concept design award.

Some of you may think that I am joking, but as some of you who know me; I am serious and don?t do things half-heartedly when it comes to my zed.
