These can be set up as white on black all the time, white on black(daytime) blue on black(night) or blue on black all the time, mine are white(day) blue(night).
They come with the pods as pictured, but mine are in a three gauge hood on top of the centre A/C vents.

Tektrader Z32 Hoe, service me baby

    I have

    Boost, Oil Temp, Oil pressure.

They are electric guages ( not mechanical) so they have senders for each.

Prices on the box say $80 for the oil guages and $56 for the boost guage

You can have all three for $155 posted if you want em.

They are made in Taiwan not China. It says on the box they are 7 colour back light. So it looks like you can select what colour you want the back light.

I have Autometer procomp ultralite silver boost, oil pres and water temp on my A pillar. I find these alot easier to read at a quick glance than alot of the other types of guages. They are very accurate when compared to my Snap on master guages. They are also available in metric or imperial readouts.

On a side note, a friend has a set of autometer carbon series in his HSV and they are hard to read at night as the numbers are backlit to brightly which makes them look blurry.

Keep away from guages with leds instead of a needle, you cant see these in daylight. I bought a set of Autotechnica Monza type R guages beofre the Autometers, looked awesome at night and where quite accurate, put the car in the sun and you couldnt even tell they were on. Had a hell of a time trying to get a refund from repco.

I have the same gauges Drz. Water and boost, they're very nice gauges but I replaced the stock back light bulb with a LED cluster, much nicer light. I want to replace my water temp gauge though as its in Farhenhight and I want the Celcius version.

Another option is something like this two channel digital meter by Yashio

The two channel version uses factory sensors for water temp and oil pressure so no need to wire in new plugs. They also do a four channel version that uses aftermarket sendres and can do oil temp and pressure/water/fuel/etc.

I priced one up for someone ex japan and the four channel unit would be $600AUD delivered and the two channel one probably cheaper. I might throw up an EOI for a group buy on these in FSBB, need to confirm pricing on the two channel unit.

Gauge Option No. 2 - SpeedHut | Revolution Metric Series

Or, How about the SpeedHut revolution metric series. There was a member who purchased the custom set (design your own) and I think from memory he was very happy with them.

But, I'm not so convinced now - as I too was going to purchase a three gauge set. I don't like the 'grading' between sets of numbers. So far, only the Saber and copies have the full 4 steps between full numbers.

Also check out some of these I've seen just recently:

Stri Racing DSD Gauges - Received a fairly good write up from Hot4's I think it was.

Shadow 60mm Water Temp - Ebay item, don't know of quality here??

Osiris 60mm Water Temp - Ebay item, don't know of quality here?? Nifty colour change system and has the 'right' physical dimensions (large 60mm face and smaller 52mm body to fit into the smaller dash holes!

RaceTech Water Temp - Saber copy, but is the warning version. Saber Series II I think from memory.

That should get you started. :)

Forgot to mention in original post that the two channel yashio display plugs in via your consult port so all very tidy.

Initially the fahrenheit bugged me but I'm now used to it. Basically I know where the needle points when everything is normal and also where it points when it is gettting into the danger zone.

Not sure i will have to find out the exact dimensions and also complete range of options for four channel. They look really good to me, if i didn't have similar display on power fc hand controller i would grab one. Pricing is economical as well, compared to the price of four separate gauges.

Another good trick is to rotate the gauge in the pod or holder so as you are in normal operating range when the needle is at twelve o'clock.

Thanks Rob, the only other option im considering ATM is the Defi tripple din gauge setup, almost $800 now becuase of our poor exchange rates .

Thats a good idea Rob, lots of track cars are setup this way and only takes a split second glance to get a reading :)

with the amount people spend on good guages, why dont more people have a pda setup reading out all the values direct from the ecu?? seems like a much better option to me?
