sorry guys but i cant find the thred where some one had the simular prob. my car sounds like a wrx when i drive it? what could be the prob?
Uve dropped a cylinder or 2 ? check ur coilpack and ptu connections. If that dosent find the prob dig a bit deeper , ohm out the coilpacks, check spark plugs and maybee a compression test if TT. Regards Trev
$10 it's the injector connectors. pull them off, check, clean (may need to file green corrosion off pins) then put back on and test. if not, see Heavytrevy's post
Raise your $10 ... When reassembling, apply a liberal amount of dielectric grease (silicon) to the connectors. If connectors are broken (most likely) get new ones from Caz1 or local Automotive Solutions Co. @ approx. $8 each.
I recommend this product http://www.jaycar.com.au/productVie...d2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID= Just breakout the points file, re-tension and give it a spray . The solvent evaporates off leaving a thin residual film of silicon :zlove: Much easier than the dielectric grease IMO. Regards Trev
ill try that tomorro i think that it could be that couse the car runs sometimes good but when i give it a bit than it starts making the wrx sound. thanx guys if any one has something els let me know pls!!!
