Another engine rebuild thread!

    Tein coilovers and standard TT diff, not exactly drag equipment. Our local 1/8th purpose built track in Portland hooks up pretty good though. Last time i ran the manual i was pulling 1.5 + 1.6 60' times, on street radials, which is awesome compared to other tracks where i was getting 2.1 + 2.2's.

    The manifolds came with the turbos when i bought them second hand years ago. They are stainless steel manifolds.

    Do you think you will ever swap to a solid 4 link type???

    Not with this car. It will always remain a streeter.

    Even with that hole in the bonnet?

    Plenty of street cars getting around with holes in bonnets, aircleaners/bug catchers hanging out, scoops mounted on bonnets. I will have mine covered, just haven't found the right thing yet.

    Manifolds

    Yeah im very suprised how much you can get engineered if you go through the government. can even have flaw mounted pedal boxes!

    After some stuffing around, it finally started making some power again, got up to 360rwkw at 19psi boost and only 6 degrees cam timing before it blew out a gasket on the wastgate and started loosing boost. Waiting on new gaskets to turn up and making a couple more changes then back to Melbourne for another tune. Should make heaps more power with more cam timing and boost.
