Ok im thinking about selling the zed, joining the army early march, so wont be able to drive it for like 4 months, or i can either finish the rest of my p's on it, then sell it, which i am currently leaning towards,

let me know what you think!

    so far iv got

    pros-
    looks awesome
    gets chicks
    nice sound system
    goes good for na

    cons-
    it will prolly break
its old , thus costing me more money

Dont sell. If its such a beautiful car then why would you want it to go? All you need is somewhere to store it and someone responsible to start it for you once or twice a week to keep it going.
When will we get it thru some heads here that THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH NA'S!!! I wouldnt swap my NA for a TT, my ride is much better, smoother and love the seats, it is sooo comfy to drive. I wish i could use it as a daily but atm i got enuf expenses on my plate....

    cons:
it doesn't REALLY get chicks (be honest)
it DOES look awsome BUT when people turn to look at you in your zed, you think YOU look cool, and you get that stupid "cool poser driver grin" across your face, and then they think you're a cock
    its an NA

    Pro's:
Sound system will go well in your next car

    sell it

    ...SEARCH is your friend .....!!!!!

.. any empirical search of this forum will clearly demonstrate the 85% of all zed technical problems relate to the cash cowo also known as the TT ..... EEEKKKKK ...!!!!

...go the ever reliable, horny NA .. YEAH, go baby ...!!!!! ...

Why all the hate towards he NAs?

I personally love the NAs, very awesome engine response, and very decent for what they are. Used to love taking my NA to sky high (a twisty road here in Melb).

Nothing wrong with NAs at all, I personally find my gf's NA nicer to drive and faster than her brother's R33 Gtst.

Agree with this entirely. I also stepped up from the NA to my current TT.

I agree that the TT is the better version of the NA, in every single aspect, apart from fuel economy.

However, having said that the NA is not a crap car, it is still an awesome car, so that's why I was against all the "sell it, it's just an na" comments.

I agree with the NA being a nicer, smoother car to drive. Gets off the line quicker and my NA is quieter than the TT. Steering is also a bit lighter. It is more civilized.

The turbo kick is missing though. On a windy road, I usually don't have a problem keeping up in the (NA) convertible, but when the straights get a bit long I get left behind.

The TT is more exciting, the NA is more sensible.

I picked up a one piece tail shaft from uas last night so those vibrations should be gone.
Still a bit warped up front from you know who hitting a tree. Needs new wheels and the tweed will be going soon. Engine is very good, gearbox serviced, new stereo and going very nicely. (even the wife seems to like it)

    You must be running then.

NA has lower gearing, so are ahead until the turbos kick in.
