where to buy an engine stand/ crane

Anyone know where I can get an engine stand, and/or an engine crane?

 

scares me that you are doing a t/t conversion yourself but dont know where to get this lol
repco,supercrap,bursons,autobarn ,just go to any cheap autostore mate,you can get them pretty cheap in the xmas sales

 

Im also looking for one, what is the approxx weight of a TT engine? i dont wanna get one and find that it will bend.

I remember repco a little while ago were selling engine stands with a bonus crane. The engine probably weighs about 200kgs, so unless you buy a stand made from wood i think you'll be okay!

 

In addition to the places mentioned you could also try

FX Larkin - they sell "stuff" fairly cheap.

 

Look in the used machinery adds in the yellow pages you might just pick something up or ring CROWN pallet trucks etc and see how you go as well look at the machinery actions one other good place to pick them up ----
