Townsville Farewell Cruise

Time is fast approaching where the removalist will empty my house and then I move myself down to SEQ. So here is the last hoora cruise with the North Queenslanders in North Queensland.

Not sure on the exact details yet but looking at a cruise out to Mingella Pub (on the way to Charters Towers) for drinkies and lunch. Cruise on Saturday, check back at this spot Friday night for specs.

I would love to make this one but my Z is still in bits as i can seem to put old parts back in the engine bay for some weird reason And evry time i take a spanner to the car i get side tracked by the next great idea

About an hour

north/west of Toowoomba via Oakey.
A combination of nice long straight roads along the flats outside of Oakey, then some tight windy fun roads when doing the mountain run.

Only problem is it could turn out to be a ~600km round trip for sunshine/gold coast folk to do the cruiZe Little bit big for a day event.

Maybe some day we could organise a sleepover cruiZe weekend. CruiZe to Toowoomba/Dalby (either mine or Karls place), BBQ, pissup, camp over. Then Sunday morning, BBQ Brekky, fun cruiZe up to the Bunya mountains for lunch at the resteraunt up there, then cruiZe home after lunch Sunday....

 

Damn didn't even know you were going Karl!!

dunno if i'll be there in my zed was just driving it to get lunch and now my clutch is barely working, i have to pump it then change gears, it wont stay engaged for longer than a few seconds, then i have to pump it....its not driveable so dunno what i'm gonan do cause am at work atm, will have to take a look at it at 5 o'clock and go from there...
