    VERY RELUCTANT SALE:

    $14,000 ono ($15,000 with rims)
    1992
    2 Seater - Rare!
    Hard Top - Rare!!
    Manual - Rare!!!
    N/A - very strong motor.
    Gun Metal Grey
2x(18x9) & 2x(18x8) Deep Dish Rims + Spare 18x8 deep dish for boot (5 rims total)
    4xOriginal 16" 300ZX Rims - very good condition.

I bought the car off a little 59 year old chap from NSW 18 months ago. He had the 100,000km service completed just before I bought the vehicle and all prior regular servicings were completed. The paint job is remarkable. The factory spoiler paint has still not started cracking yet, as many do. There are no major dents/scratches or marks on or in the car!!

The car is in an unmodified condition, except for the stereo head unit which I replaced with a dual din in dash Radio/CD/TV/DVD player and I replaced the rear covered speakers at the same time. All speakers are factory or equivalent. The car has an immobiliser and central locking.

The interior is immaculate. The dash near the windshield is absolutely perfect, not lifting at all. The carpeting and cockpit panel carpet trim is unworn, as are the carpets under the driver/passenger floor mats. The seats are unmarked and not stained, not worn and are in perfect condition. I also have genuine sheep skin seat covers in dark grey, custom made for the Z - receipts available.

The gear shift boot and hand brake boot are in perfect condition, all interior items are present.. ie: ashtray, lighter, all console panels, rear blind, space saver spare (if using Z rims), boot carpet. All interior lights, fixings and accessories work, as do all external functions.

I have a beautiful near new set of black/silver 18 inch deep dish rims to sell with the car or separately. The rears are 18x9 with 265 tyres, the fronts are 18x8 with 235 tyres. The rims have the new silver/black Z badge as the center caps and I imported the matching Z dust caps. The original Z rims are presently on the car, which are also in brilliant condition.

I have serviced the car myself every 10,000km - I have most receipts for all the parts/fluids etc. I was an F18 mechanic in the air force so the work is of a high standard. I had a new clutch professionally fitted about 18 months ago. Most work done during my ownership and before have receipts.

My fiancé and I are starting a family and with one garage only we can't justify having two cars. The car has always been garaged in South Perth. I am 31 and have only received one fine in the two years I've owned this car (5km/hr over!!) so I am pretty conservative and have not caused excessive wear.

Please, no browsers or drop ins. Serious buyers only.

Test drive offered on a customer basis?

Stufarny : KMs + Rims Answer

I will confirm tonight and get back tomorrow, but off hand its in the vicinity of about 145,000km.

I bought the car at about 120,000km, and the kms I have put on are mainly driving to and from work, all highway miles.

    The rims are G-Max Princetons

I bought four 350Z side badges for $200.00 to use for the wheel center caps.

They look fantastic, will try to get photo tonight. Dust caps imported from USA have same logo.

    Price

Okay, I am only going by what I bought the car for 18 months ago ($14,500) and the prices of other 300ZXs in similar condition on this forum.

Or Nearest Offer is exaclty that. All reasonable offers considered.

Please don't start insulting if you don't agree with something, I really don't have time for it.

I hope you do get 14k, at least then it improves the odds for us NA owners to receive that amount of cash when it comes time for us to sell our Z's. However that is quite a lot. That's in the clean TTZ prices you're up against.

Still, good luck with the sale.

    I think...

You have a VERY NICE SLICKTOP there... and in reference to the price.... its well worth it for one who is after a NA Slicktop. Id be snapping this up If I were a P plater or specifically after a un molested hardtop for track work or project car... Hence the price is right. (Im getting annoyed that you can pick up a unserviced, thrashed TT for 8 grand and then narrow minded foe automaticaly think NAs are worth a lil less.. WRONG!)

    Good luck mate.

Tektrader Z32 Hoe, service me baby

I have to laugh at you guys saying it isnt worth the buyers price.

Would you rather pay 8K then spend 4 K and a lot of inconvienience fixing it up ??

I can guarrantee you its better to buy a GOOD car and pay more, than to fix up a poor excuse for a POS.

You would not beleive some of the shit boxes I see from day to day that people are bought for big money and still have to spend a lot of money on.

Leave this thread alone, If you havent seen the car you dont have a clue.

    Thanks for the support!!!

Yeah its a tuff thing finally selling the Z... has been so much fun

such beautiful cars. i understand why you guys are such fanatics.

i went on the WA xmas cruise last year and met quite a few people, all were very nice and helpful and some awesome Zs showed up. it took two weeks for the drool rash to fade ;p

    which brings me here.

    the car, not the drool...

i would like to sell the car to someone who appreciates it, which is why i advertised here first. in 4 weeks i will be posting in the paper and on regular car sales sites. i just hope i can negotiate with someone here first and not have to see the car go to someone who hasn't a clue.

anyway, like i said before. the price is completely negotiable. if someone was keen enough to buy it, and loved the car, i would move on price for this factor. i'll be straight up with you (sold my motorbike to first customer for this reason) and help where i can even after the car is sold.

    cheers again lads

    A clean unmolested car

Stick to your guns mate, I think your car is worth every cent of 14 grand!

I looked at heaps of zeds, and a lot of them were either trashed inside, bad paintwork or extremly high kilometres.

From your pics, the steering wheel leather is unmarked, carpets clean and unworn, the dash is still in one piece, gear knob and leather handbrake are all in newish condition, which indicates to me a very well looked after car.

If the drivers seat is the same condition as the rest of the car, then you certainly have a good machine.

And as for slicktops, no leaks in the roof!

I looked for ages to find a similar car in good nick, and finally found a slicktop as well, with only 55,000 k's on the clock, the car was immaculate!, and in comparison to this car that is for sale, it comes close.

If you look on the internet carsales, a good condition zed average price is around $14,000.
So good luck with the sale mate.

    $12,000 with rims

Okay no interest, dropping to 12k with rims.

I'll wait another week or two and then advertise it in the paper etc.

Would be nice for a Z enthusiast to buy, but baby is on the way ;p

    Ive seen this car..

and it is in awesome condition, perfect inside and out. I think $12,000 is a steal, and i dont think $14,000 was too much to ask considering how well it's been kept.
