Item: JDM Vg30de engine, with manual box and spare bearings etc. Location: Canberra, ACT. Item Condition: Good. I bought this at the end of last year for a project. when i bought it it was running fine and had about 98thou on it. Reason for selling: Project has fallen though. Price and price conditions: $1000 Extra Info: Its a jdm engine, imported into Australia from japan. Originally it is out of a nissan Cima. Its a 1993 engine. It has about 98 thousand km's done on it and the gearbox. about 7000k's ago the box was rebuilt and a heavy duty clutch was installed (i think it is an exedy). The previous owner serviced it regualry and kept all fluids up to date etc. I myself nver had the engine installed or running. The motor is is fine condition, however there is some slight rust on top fo two of the cames due to the cover not being sealed properly. Next weekend i am going to crack out the steel wool and do what i can about that. It comes with all ancilleries attached, ECU, loom(cut) AFM and several spare Parts. I am not 100% sure what these parts are but they are pictured below. Pictures: The engine: Clutch: Box: Spares/ECU/AFM: Thats all i can think to add right now, but if i think of anything extra i will add it. Any questions feel free to ask and yes the price is very negotiable. My apologies for the blue pictures, my camera is stuck in some arty mode. I will try and fix it and get some better ones soon. Pickup only is from Canberra. I can be contacted here or via email, pjharro@hotmail.com.
If you are willing to sell the new engine bearing set sepperatley to the engine, i would be interested in it, providing it is the same kit as would be required for the VG30DETT...
It is out of a cima as described in the OP Apparently the same as a z32 with a different intake/plenum. thats the only real difference i was able to find in my research. As for the gearbox, I assume it is aswell stock from the nissan cima. i may be willing to seperate the bearing sets, PM a price and we can talk if you are interested. cheers, Pat
well if anyone can give me any tips on where to look for a model number or similer to determine what kind of box it is then pelase do. otherwise im gonna stick with my assumption it came over on the boat with the engine and is out of a cima anyway, price is negotiable.
Id suspect that box is a 71 series box. Same as whats found in Z31 300zeds. Perfectly adequate for an NA road car. L8tr E
