air regulator or IACV for the idle. also maybe flat battery or alternator isn't charging?

    check all the small hoses

Especially the ones that go to just under the air intake to the plenum, any of these hoses can cause erratic idling.
    Good luck:)

Tektrader Z32 Hoe, service me baby

I would bet the screeching is the Starter motor is either loose ( bottom bolt stripped) or the spacer he put under the starter motor is not the right size for the TT flywheel.

Sounds like a starter problem to me

The ticking noise sounds like the solenoid actuating. The squealing noise could be the starter gear failing to engage properly in the ring gear

well after monitoring my car i think ive found the problem

it only seems to not start after ive been pumping the bass, so, my theory is the sqeaking belt is the alternator belt being lose and not charging the battery and so that when i have my music up it jsut drains the battery.

it wouldnt start a twice in the past couple of days and that was jsut after i had the music on loud. then 20 minutes later it would start or i would have to give it a rolling start.

Easy way to test that is to see if your battery is holding a charge.

Am I the only person here, who finds this somewhat incredulous situation perplexing?:confused:

Have we really reached a point at which the insane desire to blow the wax out of ones ears(by installing monsterous sound systems) is now causing our cars to no longer efficiently function as cars?:eek::eek:

Get a grip folks, the inmates are running the Asylum.:stupid:

    mrkarter77 No Really, They do!!!

had a similar problem, was only a little sub in a s#!t box commodore....VS, but if i had the music at a decent level with the bass on, the car would eventually drive to a stop, as without power the ecu couldnt run, therefore no fuel......

What it was was a loose connection to teh alternator, so it wouldnt be pumping full charge.....

but enough to run the car longer without music... or accessories... similar thing at night...

that sounds exactly like mine, mine would find it hard to keep the idle so i would have to keep reving it
