Nice work. I gave it a go yesterday but also found it horrid to work with. Once you'd gone black enough, all shape definition was lost So was then doing to desaturate the main shape and then create a black layer over the top and mess with the opacity, but couldn't be arsed by that time.
The only way I could get the correct black shading on the bodywork was to go with the black and white negative effect! Ignore the bright wheels, etc., and you get the general idea... (you could always pretend there were neons active)
best so far red32. can you get the pic the same size as the original? loooks awsome from what i can see :zlove:
How's this... But all it is, is a black and white negative image of the original photo. If you want an opinion, black Zeds look great, even better 'Brazillioned'
guess you could then chop the body back onto the original and mess with the brightness and BAM (sorry... todays world for me is "BAM")
Tried that (overlaying the negative image on the original), but I just don't know enough about how to use the software I have (MS Digital Image). Maybe I should read the instructions! BAM!
So far as I remember, MS "Paint" has the facility to recolour an entire image. I looked for it, but couldn't find it, even tho' I KNOW I have it on my computer! Sometimes I hate being a Luddite!
id be suprised. MS paint is shit, allthough someone with too much time on thier hands and some seriuose skill can turn out nice images with it. However that same someone would do a better job using pen and paper. Can't post a youtube from work as youtube is blocked, but ill have a look tonight, theres a vid of this guy who does AWSOME car pics in paint. The vid is him working from scratch (sped up). Awsome work. But yeah, same image would take a noob no time at all using photoslap. MS Paint should be on your PC. Either under: Start\Programs\Accessories (assuming Win95 or above here) Or just click Start, the click RUN then type in mspaint and click OK
pick a different colour lol can get everything but black now we jsut need a top coat for me it would be more of a maroon
lol thanx heaps guys. yup i guess you cant see it properly in black. thanx for the help so what did u guys think? is the side of that zed sexy or what
nice....so how much effort is required actually do that......btw chad just thought i would vent my opinion....if you were to smooth it out on a black zed, wont it be very unnoticable and hence a bit of a waste?......i mean i can totally see how hott that yellow one looks as you can definatly see the lines gone........
