i instantly fell in love with this idea, imagine how long it would take to replace the turbos....... easy access and no engine pulls.
hey that's not a bad idea for some of the Na's out there , that want a turbo.. plus you can get some crazy power out of it ,, that looks really good.. there is a lot of piping but at the end of the day , look at the power you can make.. just a thought
If you look at the original thread the radiator goes at the front, where you would normally see a front mount intercooler.
very different, like u say, good 4 na's deciding to turbo, but i wouldn't change the basic setup nissan made, alota time money and research went into where everything is on the car, as u say, alot of power possiblities, but not practical, just my thoughts
I seriously doubt that this is a viable option for NA guys, the fuel system on that car wouldn't exactly be small. I'm sure he'll run with one eventually, he'll have to I suspect. A hammer can make room for anything! lol I like the idea though to keep it more streetable and reduce lag time with the larger turbo, although it's quite obvious that it'll be a drag car if he sticks with it. He's going with a transbrake auto setup which is going to greatly improve the cars launching capability. It's all in the manifold design when it comes to setups like this, it also helps if you know what you're doing like this guy clearly does. Amazing fab skills there.
No Intercoolers I have considered removing the inter coolers from my 300ZX but it would mean that I would need to have a larger water and methanol tank. And I am pretty sure it would result in more power.
