Early in the new year I will be replacing my exhaust from the headers back. I have Jasma muflers and was wondering are these good, should I keep them. I don't want to change the sound of the car just remove the drone below 3000 revs and replace the old exhaust.

Can't find a jasma web page either?

jasma isnt a brand, its like a rating. sort of like SNELL rating for helmets. basically anything with jasma stamp is approved for jap roads

are they cannons or oval mufflers? if you already have large oval muffler and still getting a drone then get some middle mufflers in or even a uas muffler/x pipe unit.

if they are cannons, change them to large oval muffler and drone will be reduced ;)

JASMA is the "Japanese Automotive Sports Muffler Association" which requires manufacturers to meet certain basic standards of quality and design.

depends. if your muffler are the larrrge oval mufflers then there fine. best for drone is get rid of those hotdogs and install some small straight thru oval mufflers in place.

Do you have a picture of what they look like? I have 2 Mufflers with Jasma stamped on them and with a centre muffler i dont get any drone. I dont have cats or hot dogs.
Do they look anything like this? Excuse all the crap.

without actually seeing them or hearing them, its hard to say whether you should replace the mufflers or not... If they are big, oval stainless steel mufflers and show no signs of detioration then keep them. An NA is harder to make droneless than the TT. If I were in your position, I would keep the mufflers for now and try one of those UAS centre mufflers / xpipe things. They look good and are great at reducing drone... If that still doesnt work, then I would change the mufflers. Keep in mind that good quality mufflers will be expensive, but if you are determined to remove the drone, then you'll have to fork out the cash if the UAS centre muffler doesnt work.

    Cheers

IT IS NOT A BRAND NAME! All sports mufflers in Japan are stamped with the JASMA label.

These mufflers kick azz the note is heaps nice almost as good as well I aint sure what there called but It has been posted up saying there the best sounding mufflers ever so what ever those muffleres were called if anyone gets that lol.

but yer as chili sais its not a brand but It must have somthing to do with the manufacture of these mufflere apart from the testing/standards.
