[WA] aus300 and tuned combined cruise....

first of all,good cruise and thanks to mickey and the tuned girls for organising,well done....:thumbup:

pretty good turn out, particurly considering the weather, although every second person i spoke to including myself has a zed but its off the bloody road for one reason or another..lol sad but true

im guessing 40 cars or so total aye mickey, if you include the commodore guys? was funny the daiz (daihatsu) car club buzzing away as they left for there night out,hope they had fun...:biggrin:

anyway looking forward to next time,get those photos happening!!!

 

Yer think a pretty good time was had by all, am looking forward to the next cruise, when ever that may be. and hopefully a daytime 1 at that, and into the bush a bit like the 'Zig Zag' cruise... but either way, was a nice night out..

p.s now i think i have a boost leek issue, i could hear the boost WAY to much, pretty sure its not all doing what it should :bash: :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:

Was good to see some of the older guys on the cruise again....as well as some new faces. Was great to catch up with you all even if it was only for two stops. Sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Hope the night was fantastic and i expect to see some pictures soon!!

yeh was good, didn't stay for the whole time but enjoyed what part me and the missus did.
was hoping to see more zeds, but with the weather and time of year it was understandable.

i really need to get on board and organise a cruise - driving last night i think i'll hang onto the zed.

a) coz it was dark and both my cams suck for night shots
b) weather... really thought it would piss down and id be going home after first meet
c) Im always taking vids at these things and as a result, kinda missing out as im seeing everything through a lens

was good that the weather held out.. even took the targas off for a few legs, til it slowly started dripping then we had to put them on whilst curizing as not to pull over and loose the group lol'

Well I'm sorry I couldn't make it, but from the lacklustre appearance of this thread, I don't think I missed much.

no pics, no vid's, 24 hours and only 10 posts and even the cruise organiser hasn't bothered.

 

oh. well i wouldn't say it like that, but mainly because of the weather and the how bad pic's are at night. none the less was good to finally have another aus300zx cruise seems like ages since the last plain ol cruise ya know. :zlove: :zlove:

Just been working today Paul, so not on here much

Firstly, there was less of a turn out than the previous tuned cruise, prob due to the weather, at the last count i handed out almost 40 maps so not all that bad, to be honest not all that much zeds there, pretty lack lustre may i say so, well i can't talk heheh, heaps more tuned cars and eternity gracer oh and some commowhores which decided to rock up and follow us, nevertheless the night did bring up surprises, like mel's BOV going off when cop pulled another guy over on the other side of the road near cot, apparently one of our zed boys lost control somewhere and mounted a curb??, no idea about this one but thats what come ppl said

Ugame hit the nail on the head, was more of a race than anything else, but we all had a good time by the sounds of it, more of a social thing than anything, esp the stop over at leach hwy macca's

All i can say is the tuned club is in disshoray after last nite, been asked to help leah out with some stuff.....

can i just say, I was in no way applauding the fact that it was more like a race.

While I will admit I had fun.... the constant speed actually pissed me off.

I always get lost on these things so i was just keeping up with whoever was in front.

Im up for a "squirt" with the best of them, but a constant all night squirt is asking for trouble.

imho we were VERY lucky there was a lack of cops on the roads and nova's etc.

I look forward to a nice day time cruise, with some coast roads, heap of topless zeds, wife and kids in the car feeling safe, and get to know some of you some more at a food stop.

damn... i must be getting old lol.

So yeah... in summary. YES i had fun... but thats too much speed for my liking.
