    Not good for the turbo's..

as they will have to slow down quickly due to back pressure. I too have goose honk and it only started after I installed a pod airfliter. You have two safe options, reinstall a stock airbox, or install aftermarket BOV's.

if you have aftermarket bov's, can you adjust them to a harder setting?

or you could remove the recuirc part and block up the hole.

    I removed mine...

I went to clarks rubber, bought some orange rubber bungs.

took off recircs, rammed in the rubber bungs into the 4 pipes, tightened the hose clamps round them.

    THAT'S HOW ITS DONE!!!

    ;)

Why would you do that?, The BOV helps to keep the turbo spooled up

    I have aftermarkets to

Ok he is right i have the aftermarkets plus the recircs on. So your telling me i should take the vacuum line off the recircs and plug that one up only and leave the other ones on the recircs. Do i leave the vacuum line connected to the top of my BOV's i have at the moment?

    ARC BOV

No i have ARC BoV..... there is already a small hose goin to the BOV it is not the one from the recircs though. Should i disconnect that one and use the one from the recircs. Which hoses must i diconnect from the Recircs just the vac or all of them?? if all of them just plug em up??]

    thanksw

    As i said

in my previous post.... RUBBER BUNGS! in the pipes where the stock recircs go. Take off vac lines to recircs, have vac line only going to BOV's.

    That is all.

for anyone interested, the plugs from clark rubber you need are two 30mm, and two 35mm. They seem to fit pretty well

    Anyone got pics?

Anyone have pics of their blocked off re-circs and BOV setup?

I've got hoses allover the place with the BOVs and factory recircs still in there, and I'd like to get it cleaned up as well. :zlove:

DinoZ Talks sh#t for a living.

My BOVs are mounted down low where the original recircs were, so only need to block off two pipes. Sorry no pics.

I did remove the short elbow hoses on both sides of the recircs and replaced with a short straight one to the BOV (I think!)

Capped off the spigot off the air pipe with something that looks suspiciously like the rubber boot off a stool (yep, picked up at local hardware). Been on there almost 2 years and still working well.
