That's easy.. get off the skidpan, after all no one should be stupid enough to slide around on public roads with all the hazzards, pedestrians and other vehicles around :bash: :bash: Your Zed sounds fine, it's the driver that has the problem.

I will, especially now that i have a fist sized hole in my rear drivers tyre.

The wife is starting to get jealous anyway. So may need to give her some attention.

I think it's lucky i got married before i got a Zed, or i may not have been as interested!!!!

    Good luck with the exams!

And 300zxt I will work on getting the 5% down.;)

Tyre condition comes with general maintenance but they're also an extremely vital component, just ask any race car driver. Tyres are EVERYTHING! When it comes to street cars, having bald tyres is the difference from being able to stop in time or running up the ass of someone because you just slid out. That will ruin your day (and your car) real quick.

I bet that if you looked under your car a few weeks ago then you would of already been able to see the steel wire exposed on the tyre that blew out. Live and learn, as they say.

    Thanks 300zxt,

I dont really need the lecture. I have been around a while now and am aware of the importance of tyres.

My original post was a bit of fun. Hence the smiles

I will try to be more serious in the future.

    Cheers

I've seen the aftermath of an accident at highspeeds all due to a blown out tyre, dont underestimate the seriousness of it even if you were only joking around.

i agree entirely though.....i had a tyre blowout at 110kms on the motorway with 4 ppl in my car...... lucky i know that brakes are not ur friend wen it comes to a blowout...better to let your car come to its own stop whilst gently steering it... much safer and i always had control of the car, a little braking is ok...but most ppl just slam on the brakes:bash: :bash:

Its especially easy with ridiculous amounts of negative rear camber right? :banned: I'd beat the snot out of you if you were my kid. :D

Wow, 300zxt sucked the fun out of this thread fast.
Serious matter no doubt, but any idiot could see that the thread was posted as a bit of a laugh and should be taken as such :)

    Damn I miss my car:(

It sounds to me like you have a "PEBSWADS"........Or in mechanic speak "problem exists between steering wheel and drivers seat"

i have a serious problem too, the tyres seem to be getting all stuck to the inside guard in tiny little chunks?! whats going on.. oh and now that i mention it all the roads near my house have big thick tyre marks on them..

anyway, i had a tyre blow out on me when i was driving the supra, i didnt even touch the brakes, just coasted to a stop.. was fine.
