Zed - Daily Driver? Hi all, Normally my Zed is not a daily driver, but this week it has been - short 12 minute drive to training location. Gota love it, took the targas off and just cruize...:zlove: Man, I love the Zed. So many people look and stare, today I had a group of kids on their bikes shout out and point: "Nice car mate" But back to the bus next week and Zed for weekends and Friday night.
Drive mine to work 6 days a week(40 min round trip). Its always interesting on the way home, R34 V-Spec,00 WRX,350Z,XR8 and a couple of other V8's all going home in the same direction.
I've been using my TT as a daily driver since I got it (nearly 3 years), and it's a 30-40min drive to work each day. She's been good for the most part but the kms are starting to add up.
Mine's a NA, but I drive it everyday to work 40mins each way. Done 40,000k's in the last year and a bit.
i drive my na as a daily 15 mins to work and back again 5 to 6 days a week, plus down the street and everywhere on my days off. I have the option of driving my pintara, but i cannot resist driving the zed. Its waaaaay too much fun or me not too. Im the kind of guy who would buy a ferrari and get the groceries in it
Used my TT as a DD for 18 months and apart from a flat battery, ran OK. Now, I keep it as the weekend and occasional weekday drive and I appreciate it a whole lot more. Sometimes it can suck when you're driving to work and pass a Z and you then remember you're not driving one and can't wave... but the money I save on petrol/tyres etc and not driving the Z every trip makes it more special when I do. :zlove:
Mines a Daily driver I work from home now so its always nice to take a break and get out in the Z to run a few errands. Its turned into a 'work ute' really. Also runs me out to misc outer suburban BMX racetracks three times a week. I do about 400kms and a tank of petrol every week on average. 89TT auto. Overall no more trouble than any other car and not much more cost either. ...but very entertaining. the only drawback, its a coupe so theres lots of times where i miss out on driving it because theres more than one passenger!
Daily Driver I've had the Z for 2 years and driven it 4 times, due to my busy work schedule, however once my plans for the Z is rectified it will see the roads on weekends. At this stage I've had a attractive offer for the Z, however reluctant to not let it go
I have used mine as a daily driver since 1999, and other than some time off for performance improvements has been really reliable. Those who say that you can't use high HP Z's as daily drivers don't know what they are missing.
yeah mines my daily get driven 7 days a week without fail,except the 3 weeks it wasnt running recently its never let me down...
i drive mine every day unless i cbfed and use something else... It gets driven to work every day and work is only 2 minutes away But i do go out and do things afterwork or in case i have to leave work early if something has happened... Apart from when i do some things to my car if its not finished i will just drive something else or get a lift to work
