These cars are a pain in the you know what when you've got problems....but I've got to say when you get the 300 all sorted it is the exact opposite. Engine is run in and making good power, no leaks, no squeeks....It has been 12 months of trouble free motoring ( except a little det. sensor trouble )...... they are a beautiful car to have and 100% enjoyable. The front bar is now painted and that was the last thing that needed finishing.
My sentiments exactly. I bought mine with 180 on the clock and have just had the big 200 thou service and it's still smooth as silk.
4th guy right here......my zed has been really crap even after a rebuilt engine but as i got a few hoses replaced +rear main seal changed and a few holes in exhaust welded etc with a $1000 spent i was shocked.....but it was all worth while as it runs like a dream...... cant stop smiling
To bad and back to good Yeah.... so all was good until someone flogged the car and did not let the turbos cool before shut down. All Jap did an $800 R & R on the engine and fitted two tested second hand turbos..... but one shit itself within weeks Anyhow..... Gavin at Auto Tech fitted two new BB high flows...... car is back to fantastic Feels about the same power on 10lb as opposed to 13lb with the standard turbos. YAY!
Glad to hear it mate! Just hope that your new turbo's last longer than mine did. When they're running right they run like a dream :zlove: but when they break down within a couple of months of having the $$$ spent you soon wish you hadn't of spent the money. Fate *tongue in cheek*
