Thanks to all who made an appearance today, hope you all had a fun run and enjoyed the roads, even those who couldnt follow directions and got lost LOL:bash: . Ha, ha Thanks also to the lovely police officer in the green car who gave us an escort along the first leg :D - why didnt you come in for coffee:confused: . I thought you did a very good effort navigating that leg without directions or a map.

Well done to all for not opening maps - that pretty good considering the weaving and dodging of the back roads done.

The winner of the annual Postwhore Rally was none other than the postwhore himself BigBaz - Byron and Lars with 30 points closely followed by Caz and Kids and Pete - OZ300 both with 29 points each. Not bad for a perfect score of 31 points.

    Great Job Matt and Jase

Well organized with fantastic roads and clear instructions to everyone so nobody could get (permanently) lost

A bit chilly at the top of the mountain but with the top down and heater going it was very nice.

    Here's a few photos

No, we are not bush bashing, just parking at Mt Wilson for lunch

Oops, hard to read instructions, write down answers to those silly questions and drive at the same time

Now, who got the most questions right ?

    It was Bigbaz

Great day out Matt & Mary. It was good to see some new faces too.

Interesting that our friend in the Kermit Green HP car, managed to find us by chance(given that he passed me near Kurrajong Heights, heading towards Sydney), but miraculously turns up many, many klms away, at Mt Wilson, 10 mins after I do, and in the opposite direction to which he was last seen driving(several klms off the main road, and at a venue we have never visited before), and he gets there while we are still there. There were dozens of other more likely places we could have been.

If any of you still believe that the Police don't read these forums, think again.;):zlove::zlove:

    Definately Agree

Amazing isn't it, did he try to defect anyone??

Someone start a thread about a kidnapping, bombing etc and see what happens????? Shit would hit the fan I reckon.

GREAT FUN Matt and Mary

It was great to catch up with everyone and well worth the near 800 kms I clocked up today.

I took a few pics at Crispy Cremes at Panthers, then the camera battery went flat. Guess I should charge it occasionally. Oh well, at least I got a coouple of pics.

    DrongoMan Sir

Well after my navigator got called away from duty - something about his girlfriends birthday or something insignificant like that i lost hope, and then came to the realisation that i should probably let someone else win...

    Hey Matt,

Thanks again for an awesome cruise, it afforded some of us the chance to see some roads and areas we would otherwise by-pass on boring populated highways.

However i think it was a bit rude that you didn't give the police man a sheet Matt, he probably just wanted to play  his friend in the black Commy as well.

As for St-Ives to Forbes in 15 minutes, i believe it took us 17 minutes, even with the blue undercover Ford with the "Baby on Board" sign, urging us to do it in something like 10minutes. Theres nothing suss about a done up ford whatever pulling up next to you taking off, then sitting in the left hand lane doing 40km.h waiting for you to catch up to do that all over again... and again... and again...

A little bit of tactics were involved, we somehow managed to leave last and arrive first without overtaking a single zed, getting all the answers right and not get lost once on the way there, although the same cant be said for the second leg, a little bit average on that one. Was an awesome day absolutely loved it, some very nice driving roads aswel, cheers matt for all the organisation

Thanx heaps to Matt & Mary (et al??)

Lots of organisation obviously involved... even perfect weather! Love the mountains! :D We were only sorry we couldn't include the 2nd leg - we knew it would be better for Paul's poor spasmed back :( to stick to some straighter roads. Good to catch you at the end!

Congrats to Caz's young skilled navigator on high-scoring whilst battling the nauseating effects of in-car reading on those roads!! Very cool. ....And yeah... congrats to the bigger winners as well! Congrats and appreciation to Chili for getting lost - someone had to do it - very kind of you!

Had a great day. Thanks again, cheers, Paul and Jan

MANY THANKS TO MATT & MARY

T'was a really beaut day great weather if a little cool, the restraunt was just lovely and the run down the old highway was really cool.

Now if only we could do it in our Zed!! but the Mighty Magna served us well. :)

Thanks to everyone for the great company and appologies to anyone who might have followed us thinking we had even the slightest idea we knew where we were going
