A Sneaky lot of buggers we are. I had been organising a small posse of Zedders onto a Stealth Zed cruise down to Southport after Dyno day to spring a surprise party for K-Zed, on the eve of his departure to PNG and the Louisiades tomorrow. We all arrived down outside Rob's apartment at 5:30, and I buzzed up to his room and delivered some DVD movies for him to watch on his trip. Richo was up there with Rob (as my evil accomplace), to make sure Rob stayed in a fit condition for our arrival. I summoned Rob downstairs, telling him Tammy was in the car and wanted to say goodbye. When the elevator doors opened on the ground floor, the lobby was full of Zedders, and we trundled off to the pub, and then for some Asian delights (and some food too). Thanks to Black Baz for supplying the gift and card. Thanks to Richo for your help, and also thanks to those that came to make the night a real ripper. Special note of thanks also to Mike and Cass (MikeZ and OEM PSA) + DinoZ, who made a special trip down/up for the event. Hope you had a wonderful night Rob, have a great trip. Great sendoff ... and the old man didn't suspect a thing I'm on good authority that your surprise visit was greatly appreciated Thanks to Greg (aka cunning bastard) and Baz for organising things & everyone for showing up... it was great to see you all. I was en-route in the zed when the smoke finally decided to bellow out the back end. Motorway travel was not a good answer for her obviously. Take care Rob... We will see you upon return.
