Original shroud didn't fit new radiator, so haven't got around to doing anything about it. Is there a major issue without? Driving temp of my Zed is between 76deg. cruizing to 83deg. at higher revs, is this OK?
Or should I be looking at getting it replaced ASAP.

    Thanks Stonie

This time of year, I think you should be fine

however during the hotter months, you may have an issue, ad the clutch fan will be very inefficient without a shroud.
At the moment, all your cooling will be coming from the "Ram Air" effect.

    +

it's good for safety too, if you are ever checking something on your engine with the motor running, a shroud could save something from hitting or getting dragged into the fan blades.

    radiator type??

what sort of radiator is it?? and did you have to do any modifications to get it to fit the NA mounting points??

    Cheers

Radiator is the UAS type1, just sits there on the original bottom mounts & 2 bolts at top 2 mounts. Seems to sit there nice and tight.
Those temps for the running engine was during this last summer, didn't seem to bother the engine even on those 40deg. days. I sometimes drive with laptop contected to Conzult and shows the exact temp.

Thanks for the kind words on my Red Zed

Well done Stonie, she looks beautiful!. I totally agree, Zed ownership wouldnt be anywhere near as good without this forum full of fellow Zedders who generously share their time, skills and experience with us all.

baz, pro bono .. wot next ...!!!! .. lol..... love it ..!!!

.. a now for a brilliant bit of black baz technical advice ... re the tech section and the A-Z index ... specifically the use of "(new)" after a recently included item ... the "new" stays there forever and so loses it's relevance ..

.. so, to the point .. why not replace the "new" with something like : item included dd/mm/yyyy .. ??????

just another bit of BB bloody, bombastic brilliance .. in a technical sense, of course ..

Technical brilliance is only surpassed by your good looks Baz
    'new' removed from A-Z.
NB: I usually update the 'new' appendage during updates/additions... but I've had little to add of late.
