A pleasant day was had upon Mt Tamborine; nothing special by way of a major cruiZe - more a social day with some culinary delights sampled and lots of post-Warwick chat. Overnight rain (24mm+ in places) cleared to a beaut day and Black Baz lead the way up to the markets... first time I was happy to be behind an NA with PoPo coming down the other way Tambo markets were teeming with people and food-stuffs... lots of yummy samples and we all came away with plants or food. It really is a great country-style market! On to St Bernards Hotel for refreshments and a group pic >>> L > R: Barclay & Layoni; John & Meryl (OldFart); Annette & Barry (Black Baz); Richo & Jan. St Bernard's was chokka and had 3 different Mother's Day special menu's in full swing. Full of market samples ~ currys, snags, stuffed olives, cheeses and thai, we ignored the BBQ & Buffet & ordered battered chips and oysters kilpatrick to wash down with a Chardy or Guinness whilst enjoying light musical entertainment and Zed-chat, surrounded by the usual bush turkeys and peacocks. Finished up with an ever-so-slow run down the Canungra Gorge road, just reopened after major slip and repairs, and parted company. Passed one of Fate's fuzzy friends on way home ... bugger didn't even wave
yep a very pleasant, relaxing day on the mount .... nice way to spend mother's day .. a bit of marketing for plants, cheeses and stuffed olives (yummy...!!!), a glass of wine and oysters kilpatrick ....:biggrin: :biggrin: .. and at the hotel we met up with maree and gavan, potential new zedders, with maree very keen to get her hands on a good zed ... welcome aboard, maree and gavan ... hope you find your zed soon .... :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:

It was a small & sedate meet compared to Warwick. [I, for one, needed a wind-down after the helter-skelter of the previous weekend] :biggrin: Always great to get together at any time and place with you guys and gals :zlove: :zlove: :zlove: I'll be away sailing, from mid-June for several months, but I'm sure Black Baz, PexZed or others may organise some great cruiZes. Springbrook/Numinbah Valley/The Gap ... all spring to mind ... I'll read about 'em at least
