Suzuki Mighty boy why learn to park your car, when you can just pick it up and put it where it needs to go!
late model rx7 but just too expensive!, for a daily driver, i preferred my R34 GTT to the Z, but it doesn't have a patch on the looks and, in the dry at least, the z corners better
Insurance and parts killed this dream... Can't complain though, my Aus-spec has been a delight for near on 3 years now... with the only expenses being fuel, tyres, service costs and a recent clutch master/slave cylinder replacement.
Nice new ferarri F50, but as that is out of my price range, I got a Z But seriously, I saw the zedsled for sale over here in WA, fell in love with it, saved, saved and saved some more, and eventually bought my first dream car. Eventually I will get my Ferarri though
i hav always wanted a z32 since i was knee high to a grasshopper. unless of course we are talking the amounts of money in life i will neva have unless a rich uncle dies (I HAVE NO RICH UNCLE), then i would definately go for a lambo, you just cant pass them without having a good stare! after the zed my choices would be: lotus v8 twin turbo (the one that looks like a lambo, esprite i think) definately a bmw m3 late model supra series 6 rx7 (or anything that makes that annoying rotary sound) turbo xr6
Always wanted an LS1 powered zed either a 240 or a 260. Saw a couple of rust riddled examples that totally turned me off. I then started looking at the 300zx. Without a zed I would have ended up with a Holden SS. At one stage I also looked at getting a motorbike, that was until I witnessed an huge bike accident in Manly........ . I still might get a bike, 3 of my closest friends now have bikes (all within the past month). I guess im just jealous.
I had my heart set on a 180sx for a long time, I just couldn't find one I liked. I also looked at celica's R32's, R33's, RX7, MX5, subi rx, honda (v-tech yo) integra and even a SSS pulsar I found my car in the Autotrader, bargained the price down to about $7,000 and spent another $2,000 or more fixing the exhaust, fuel tank engine and a set of 18's. At the end of the day I'm very pleased with it for a first car. Another reason for the cheap price is the less than appealing interior and slightly crap bumper. All of which are on my 'to do list when I have money'. Second car it would be a R-spec S15, R34 GT-R, late model RX7 or a EVO IX .....in my dreams
EVO III Grew up wanting one of these bad boys.......... but moving to Australia from N.Z made the decision for me
yeah, thats 15k purchase price, most guys i know have at least doubled that, i have and more, and i'm not even half finished yet, i estimate my Z will cost me between 50 - 60k to get it where i want it, mind you, that is not necessity money, that is money i choose to spend, i could drive the car for years without spending any more and also i didn't have to spend 3/4 of the money i have already
Wasnt there another aus300zx forumer that made kit cars with lambo bodies and your choice of engine? I think they were called supercarsAustralia.
when i came over to aus I was looking for a cheap runabout, considers old VW beetle convertibles and other interesting but slow cars...
I was going to get a lamborgini ...........im not joking , it was a kit car that was a lambo replika the price was about $50k or $60ks ready to go and becouse it was a kit car i had the option of what engine i would like to put in it and my choise was the mighty vg30dett
Since i was a kid my dream was a 22B STi.. well i dont have 120K lying around.. so i got a Version 5 2-door STi. After my STi i was looking around for a Z, because i wanted a rear wheel drive TT car that had balls and looked good.
