Just a couple of pix of the car lowered on kyb agx shocks and 38mm lowered kings springs I took it for a hard mountain drive tonight and it handles like an F1 car :zlove: Imo Its a superb match up on suspension for handling and if you want to lower it
if my front tyres rub on full lock is this likely to make it worse? ... very keen on doing this to mine!
not too bad.. have you got them set at the lowest? and what size rims and tyres are you running, they look like 18s?
The KYB shocks are not height adjustable Strom. The springs determine your drop. Hey Simon can I have the part numbers for your springs please? I can only find standard and low Caz..
17's are on in the pic they are 17's you can see in the picture about to be 18's soon and to bhp from the pics you sent your car is no way lower than that,at the rear you said it was set at the lowest on coilovers,at my front and rear you can barely get a finger between the tyre and the guard,but i hope yours does go lower as you spent an extra $700 than me,i couldnt go any lower anyway,the front is barely 100mm off the ground now by the looks from these pix http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=257928 it is the same as mine was before it was lowered lol
NO,thats a portable garage/cover,its not 200 man tent ,never seen a tent 18 metres long yet lol lol,must be a new zealand thing lol
they have settled a little since then, also i lowered the front a bit more as well, i will take some more pics and post them up when i put my battery back in
i thought yours would drop a bit more cool, i wasnt being smart just going by the old pics,mine are also starting to settle and dropping a bit more,will probably take a few more weeks to do so id say im sure we will both agree these cars look great when lowered :zlove:
yeah, lowering them a bit makes them go from "nice car" to "hott car", especially with the right wheels, 17's front 18's rear, gives the best look in my opinion
thanks, i installed them all my self ,easy job ,i bought them for 730 kyb and 260 springs,but caz is going to do a g/b shortly for a little less,i am very happy with the setup , car handles great and looks hot:zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
Thanks was there anything wrong with the stock ones ? or did you just want to change them and lower it at the same time ? becouse im thinking of doing the same thing
ive renewed everything on mine with the best available ,and when i took the struts off 2 of them were cactus,so its good i did,if doing your suspension i highly recommend the set up i have, lowzx at last
