Has anyone sourced these before I would prefer a twin setup to monitor both banks and prefer a 2 1/4 inch gauge.

Send me some links if anyone has them

    Cheers

no but have been considering getting some.. kinda need them for optimising timing.

what's stopped me is I don't really want them before the turbo but whether you can still get a reasonably accurate reading after the turbo I'm not sure.

I know they'll probably be a few hundred degrees off, that doesn't really matter, I'm more interested in whether the readings will be skewed by current turbo temps or other such factors where you can't just assume the actual temp is a certain number or % higher than what's being displayed.

actually search twinturbo.net on the subject.. I think it was something there that led me to some pretty nifty dual display aircraft gauges.. you gotta be careful with getting the right sensor though, Ash killed his engine due to the sensor self destructing.

    Skydat EGT Gauge

I've been using a Skydat twin EGT gauge on my hovercraft for a couple of years, Its great for tuning?balancing twin carbs.
I'm planning on fitting one to my 300zx.
They are a digital gauge and are available from X-air http://www.mcp.com.au/xair/online/category16_1.htm
They are relatively cheap at $155 including two sensors.

Thanks for that looks pretty cool

I searched under aeronautics last night actually and came across an absolute bundle. One was one 2 1/4 inch gauge with 6 probes for V6 engines and scrolled through each one and displayed its temp on the digital display. Or could be set to show the highest or lowest etc really top stuff and around 500 USD which is pretty good
