    Hahaha are you burning the old rubber bushings out to put in the new ones????

    yeah, pressed them out but the metal sleeve didn't come with and had a lot of rubber left over... didn't have a wire wheel with the right size around so got out the zippo fluid :p

    I thought i'd do them all at once and take a photo just for kicks... :D

    its a zed chandelier ,you should do a g/b on these for sure,my mrs would luv that hanging in the loungeroom :eek: :eek: :eek: :D :D

    Do the metal sleeves have to be removed?

    there is one metal sleeve which lips at the top... that one needs to be removed. The lip at the bottom definately DOES NOT! That one supports the bush.

    hahah yeah thats it mate.... ;);)

    the rubber doesn't continue to burn for long so a few time in a row took care of it... half a tin of lighter fluid.... :D

    Rubbers need lubricants

    so they can protect the fire within.
