AIR BAG UPGRADE TO 89/90 300zx ???

Hi Zed Fans,

Would like to live through an accident if the worst comes to the worst.

Does nayone have any information on retrofitting the air bags from a mid 90's 300zx into a 89/90 300zx.:zlove:

Would seem to require replacing the dash and the steering wheel.

Can it be done

 

It probably could, you would have ti find a zed with airbags and take out dash/steering wheel, sensors around the car, wiring, and im not sure if you would have to replace the ECU...experts here know better. But i dont think it would be worth all the hassle.

 

I drive a 1990 zx, airbags would be great, but WAY too expensive, anything can be done to a car, anything! But what cost? I dont know. Were you wanting to pay a pro, as I imagine with it being a custom job that it would cost you a mint!
