    :D

I've got the bling bug... after stripping the shit off my engine and being left with dirty looking components I HAVE TO SMARTEN IT UP!!!

i was all power, who cares what it looks like... but now i've got my hands in there.... (oh no this is going to be expensive :( )

So, if anyone has a polished plenum PM me!!!

I've just taken the rocker covers off my car at 12.30am (yes i think i have a problem) :zlove:

Just get an exchange TTZED one

    about $400 I think + Post.
Or see any decent metal polisher, mine cost about $280 12 months ago, although the polisher has moved now.

    Don't do it Richard

It's addictive, been known to become obsessive: spending on food/grog/girls diverted into shiny little engine-bay trinkets  ... missing out on cruiZe's for fear of getting it all dirty or being upstaged by Baron, :( (See the MikeZ thread a few days ago?) Be warned!:D

Ah, welcome to the fold brother. But I agree with Rob, don't do it. But if you do Queensland plate in Salisbury are your chromers, remember to take everything (EVERYTHING) in one job lot, it's got to do with the way they charge. ( If you take one P/S res. it may cost $75, if you take five it may cost $120, get it) and after trying to polish that shroud the other day I swore I'd throw away the polishing gear. Hatefull job:mad:

r33k .. the way your engine bay looked the other day..

.. yukky pooh, pooh .. i reckon that you will never maintain a polished set-up over time ...the mikez and baron bays are the creme de la creme as is that of "el rey de bling" , uncle wizard .. these guys PUT TIME into their bay maintenance .. unfortunately, mate, yobbos like you and me just do not have that commitment and application ..... !!!!! ..    :p :p ;) ;)

SO TO THE SOLUTION: .. go for powder coating .. does not cost heaps, much easier to maintain ... and looks good ... just do it ..!!!  :D :p ;)

Seriously though, the powdercoaters said if they have an already polished surface they can coat it like polished gold as shiny as chrome, would that look shit ?? anyone seen pictures.

ask them how it copes with heat, a lot of the shiny stuff goes funny in the heat, obviosly not if its polished but yeah

They said heat should be ok, but could could not gaurantee, only cost 70 bucks, cant go wrong
