How many people would prefer a HARDTOP rather than a TARGA

i like the look of a slick top better

although i like my convertible even more but the targa does make sence

 

Slick top ........for.....

......the track AND a Targa for the Street

 

I've got a Targa Top

and glad I do! :zlove: I mean, if I didn't, I wouldn't have had any excuse to buy geo's awesome targa top bags!

 

Targa for me, just the vision of driving along the coast with the sun on your face and the wind in your hair just about does it for me

 

I loved my slicktop a lot more than the targa

 

Targas do have that cool factor of sun and wind in your face but the slicktop looks tougher. I'd like to see a 2+2 fitted with one.

 

Slicktop for me...

No water leaks, less weight... & I hardly take the roof off anyway.

I want a tintop..

I"d swap my Targa 4 seater for a plum Black tintop..

 

I wouldnt mind a 2+2 slicktop, but as I don't believe this to be an option i'll stick with my 2+2 targa...the 2 seaters just dont look right . I don't seem to use my targas nearly as much as everyone else though so maybe I should try them out for a while before I comment.

 

Targa Top for sure!

Transforms the Zed with that open car look and feel.

Love it in summer evenings. Can't imagine the Zed without the Targas.
The concept is brilliant and works extremely well in the Zed.
I have never had leaking targa issues.:zlove:

slicktop would be the win if they werent all those ugly 2seaters. 2+2 for the win, if that means i have to have a targa, so be it.

 

Targa Top or Slick?

Man, I wouldn't have it any other way - Targa Top for sure!

I have never had a leak problem with the targas, mind you it doesn't rain here much...

One thing you have to be aware of is: Wear a hat or sunburn cream while cruising around as the sun doesn't feel hot but you sure find out later on.

TARGA FTW!!!

Targa top is definately the best of both worlds.

My targa isn't leaking... however the previous owner copped a leak...

You can see sealant has been put on the seams, and the vinyl is wrinkly and the metal underneath is rusty

but it survived the winter.... so it should be fine.... or maybe i should do something about it....


Anyways.... Targa's are cool, however they don't use them on new cars, cos we have mechanical hardtop convertables now. They also fit in your boot... and aren't made from flimsy knife inviting canvas etc.

 

30 degrees tomorrow. Targa for sure.

Slicktop. Anything else is a pretend sports/performance car.
