Hey guys, Well..its been ages since i fired up the Z. Figured id better do it and go for a drive the other day. Everything went fine, started, warmed up etc etc. But as i was driving down the road i felt a trickle of water on my left foot. The nasty thing is that i think it smells like coolant. Anyone know what that could possibly be ? Heater core maybe ? Thanks in advance. Glen.
SOUNDS LIKE!!! The Zed has done what it normally does, you loved the driving so much that you wet yourself Check left leg for further evidence
.. the dreaded heater core, you can either remove it, replace it or bypass, but make sure there is no coolant dripping on your ecu and electrics mate!!

Yes this just happend to me 2 day's ago was driving eairly in the morning when i noticed a stong coolant smell look over an stem was ozzing from passenger side firewall upon closer look seen coolant leaking from the feet blower's. I decided to bypass it untill i have the time to pull dash out. Bypass took 5min's an all work's well now. Good luck with it mate
..... If you have the time i would pull the dash but a bypass will get you by untill you can be bother'd to pull dash
