I have been told by the mechanic that tried to fit the front aftermarket veilside 2 front bumper on that it is about 6cm off the ground so i will definitely need to sell it and get a different one.

I was just wondering what some of you may recommend to get and if you could provide pictures. It would have to be higher than the veilside 2 one.

I spoke to fibre vision in cannington (perth) and they said they got a nismo one and they reckon it looks 10 times better than the veilside 2. this is where i initially got my front bar from and i was hoping they'd just do a straight swap and extra cash for another one but they wont.

Please also let me know who else does fibre kits in Perth.
Is anyone selling their aftermarket front bumper?

    Thanks guys

one or two other members have had the veilside 2 front bar fitted, maybe one of us can help you get it fitted, isnt that hard when you know how.

    hey mate,
is your car lowered? i've got the veilside front bar and i've definitely got more than 6cms, but mine is stock ride height on 17" rims.

    places to try are:
    Extreme Machines
    Spoiler Shop
Jetspeed (over east but post at good prices!)

can't think of any else, but try carmate etc. they are over east as well.

the impression i've got from front bars and hitting things, its not so much the height from the ground, its how much it sticks out vertically from the nose of the car. for hitting driveways and curbs etc., its more about how far it sticks out, but thats just my experience from cars with bodykits.
hope this helps in some form.
    cheers.

oh and the 2k bar is the 2000 Spec bar for the 300zx. there's a pic of it on www.nismo.com.au i think

be sure to thank your mechanic!

now you can get a front bar that actually looks good!:D

as far as I know the c2 is the only one people have height issues with, anything else should be fine.

2000 Spec Bar was produced by nissan for the '99 & 2000 model zeds, see below...

Just get on some of the sites & see what you like then chase it up locally. I'd suggest www.ttzed.com or www.czp.us or www.z1motorsports.com

    cheers, tim
