as iv said im all new at this 300zx stuff,i live in colac (about 2hrs from melb) where wud be the best place to get my zed serviced and also checked out by ppl who know wot they are doing,so annoying things can be diagnosed that othe rppl wudn thanx zedders
If you're prepared to drive to Melb then you should get in contact with any of Nissport, Z-shop or Wallards (all in the phone-book), all recommended repairers/mechanic for 300ZXs. For country Victoria, see who Renzed and SalzZX use (Ballarat and Bendigo, but I'm not sure who's where)
Hey do u mean wallards auto repair in bulleen coz thats just around the corner from my house never new they did 300's!!!
My car just goes to my mechanic to get service etc.. I dont really trust mechanics etc... Plus the fact i have known theses blokes since i was a little boy lol and we all have our cars serviced with them... For dyno stuff i goto JPC but zed has not been on the dyno yet...
Yea same with my car but i guess i might try wallards out 1 day seeing as he is around the corner ... so much to learn from this forum!
Yeah hehe sounds good... Never got anything done there even tho they ar elike 10 to 15 mins away from me... Then again i dont drive my car much.. Whats the point when i only work 2 mins away hahaha
hey zanga I used to do the same the great mechanic thats done everything in my family, but they dont seem to know much about H.Performance cars they put a standard fuel line on my zed and the thing caught on fire now looking for a new one so it pays to pay the pros dude...
You really didnt read what i said did you fradda.... I goto my own mechanic for servicing... you know oil and oil filter change etc etc becuase i dont have the time to do it myself due to work... If i want anything else done in the way of Performance work it goes to JPC why is that? Becuase i trust them with my car and have been to them when i owned my VL... I pay to get things done right the first time and i dont like to be stuffed around... Who are the pro's? what people who know theses cars? or the fact that most places like to rip you off becuase its a 300zx and they dont want to work on it and charge the earth for something that dont take as long as they said it does... lol let me put it to you like this... When they own a High Powered race boat they dont know what they are doing correct? there is no point putting my zed on the dyno for a tune... reason being it runs a stock ECU...
