passenger windscreen cowl.. pm cresta.. his been importing em cheap i drove around without one for ages.. no big deal.. extra cooling.. hehe feel the heat that comes out of that hole.. dont blame your mechanic.. theyre very old and brittle after all these years and the battery acid fumes rot them out
cowl yeah mate, my car didnt have 1 on when it came from japan, no real dramas just dont shove the hose down there when your washing the car dude, grab a new cowl from cresta .
Get one from CRESTA and make sure your mechanic pays. While your original cowl was no doubt damaged from battery fumes, it is easy to remove if they are working in that area so don't take any crap about wear and tear.
cool... ive already messaged cresta (john) ... so hopefully rain doesnt damgae nething.... thanks for help guys... jimmy.
just leave it off, much more cooling the more cooling a zed gets the better, i allong with many others have taken ours off on purpose. i've driven in rain, snow and whatever and nothing ever faltered. there is no other importand components below the battery anyway. cheers - scott 0421634530 pveale@ozemail.com
